Interview dates - urgent question

Hi,
My parents have the receipt number from HDFC. They got this on the 28th of Dec. I am trying to schedule an appointment for them having all their details.

At what point does the system schedule the interview dates? I start the aplication, enter the barcode info, their passport, DOB info etc. It then shows a calendar of available dates, then it takes me to the 156 application form. I completed and saved the form. But never got a chance to schedule the interview. Please help. Thanks.

In other words do you schedule the interview and then fill the forms 156, 157 or is it the other way around? Also do I need to fill 157 form? Parents age 59 and 56 respectively. Thanks in advance.

All available dates will be displayed in calendar format once you've filled all forms. U have to fill DS156, DS 157 forms for each person. Once you are done filling DS 156 and Ds 157 for the first person, it will ask you whether u need to add another person or not.

Normally both will get same date and time. MAke sure u have all info gathered and ready before scheduling appt. Fill forms as fast as u can making sure u put correct info. especially the passport details such as name, DOB, passport issue and expiry dates etc. Passport details CAN'T be altered later. (atleast the first 14 fields of the form CAN't be modified later.)

When u do scheduling online, u need to fill DS 157 for each person irrespective of their age or gender.
