interview dates not available at Delhi consulate

We have been trying to get a interview date for visitor visa using the https://www.vfs-usa.co.in/ website.

But this site keeps informing us that interview dates are not available !!!

On calling the website contact person, they inform us to wait.

On talking to some of the travel/visa agents, they tell us that it will take Rs10,000 to get an appt !!

I wanted to find out if anyone had had this issue and what is the best way to even get an interview date.

I am having same issue . not sure what to do

The dates I saw last available were Feb 2009 dates on 6th Feb in EST day time. I was watching dated throughout the month of Dec, Jan and first week of Feb.

After Feb 6th, I have not seen any date available for New Delhi consulate for B2 visa - Hindi or English - i always check for both the languages.

Last week I started checking at night as well and I saw one availability for 20th March - which means March @ New Delhi Embassy for B2 visa is almost booked completely - unless someone cancels and another person gets lucky.

I have to get an appointment ASAP for any available day now - seeing that March is already gone.

I am on EST timezone. If you guys can share your timezones and contact details, probably we can inform each other once we see the dates. I am sure group effort can work out better than single handed endless efforts.

It is just so frustrating - March is available for booking in Chennai/Kolkata even in Mumbai - but not in Delhi :(

Any inputs would be greatly appreciated!

Dates are available now for 24th, 25th and 26th of March @ New Delhi for English.

I just booked mine 20 mins ago.

B2 visa dates

All,

Reading through the posts I see that getting visa dates is very tough. I am trying from past some time and not getting dates but I see that Neha got dates available.

Is there any specific time I should be trying? I am on EST time zone.
Otherwise seeing dates available in other consulates and not in delhi emabassy is so frustating.:mad:

Also does any one have success stories recently?
 
I have also been struggling to get an appointment in Hindi at Delhi Consulate for last 2months. Anyone has any idea on the dates release process ? Tjain73, have you managed to get the appointment. Also can you send the details of the travel/visa agents who will get an appointmeent for 10,000
