Interview Date??

My priority date is May 31 2002.Till last week mumbai consulate has been saying that "We cannot offer you an
interview until the priority date passes your date of 31 May 2002".According to May VISA bulletin for EB3 category Cut-off date is June 1 2002.Has anyone got interview dates which falls under above priority dates.Is it that consulate doesn't schedule interview till we ask for it??
 
I got my interview date which is June 16.Is there any possibilty that i can ask for some other date.I got a mail from Consulate that Invitation has been already mailed to my address...

My case was sent to consulate on March 17th 2005.I have send them an email looks like they scheduled interview only after seeing my mail(guessin)

My case is an AC-140.
My PD is Oct 2001

I received an email from the Mumbai Consulate with my BMB number.
Any idea when they schedule an interview ?
From what i have read the interviews are scheduled 60 days out, Doe sthat mean I should expect an interview in July ?/
