Interview date tacticks..... pls slove

Hi all friends,

In JAN, FEB 2005, I am going to stamp my H1B1 visa at mumbai.

I have a question about appointment date.
[I want earliest date available]

Lets see, I picked ONLINE & got appointment date on 18-Feb-2005, then after going India, I submit all docs. to VSF center IN PERSON.
can I check and pick earlier available interview date [lets say 18-Jan-2005] and simply cancel the prior [18-Feb-2005] date. ?????

Is it possible, DOABLE... ????

Hi Nancy,
You can modify/cancel the existing web appointments. You can not take multiple web appointments on the same passport number at a time. So only thing you can do is modify your existing web appointment and advance your dates if the date is available or you can cancel and apply for fresh available date.

I think it is doable. But it would be better if you can have somebody in India contact the VFS in person and get the appt. before U go to India.
