Interview at NEWARK INS

We have interview at INS NEWARK office next month. Our case is I-485 based. They have asked for Passport, I-94, current employment letter, and medical record. We are not sure about what they meant by medical record. Is it the old one that we submitted originally or they want us to redo the medical again. Does anyone know how long is medical valid?

How long back you had your medical done ? it might be expired so I would suggest get another medical report and keep with you (it must be sealed by doctor) . What is your PD ? I have also interview on 15th June so please share your experience so I can be prepared .

Interview in Newark, N.J.

Hi,

My interview is scheduled for: 6/14/06, but in the letter they are asking about passport, I-94, & the letter they send it to me.
I don't understand whay they have a different requests. I never provide them with my medicals so I wll get them before interview.
I will take everything I have-just in case (who know's what they will ask for).
Please share your opinions.

i had my interview on dec 2005 (not in newark), but i would like to share my experience. the officer will just ask and verify all the information that you put on your application. pretty much, he or she will just go over with your application. bring all the things that they ask you to bring, because you just dont know what will they ask from you. i had my lawyer with me during the interview, just in case if something would come up that i dont know. i was very nervouse but the officer was very nice and accommodating. he was very thorough with my application. i got an rfe during the interview. he asked for more evidence of my 245(i) application. i responded to it right away and got my approval letter almost after 6 months. it was a long journey but im happy the it is over now. goodluck!!!
