Hello,

I am a beneficiary of the F1 category. My interview is scheduled for the US consulate at Montreal, Canada.

I need some ideas about the questions that I will be asked during the interview. I would like also to know if they will provide me with the immigrant visa at the same day of intreview or later?

Thanks

They may stamp your passport with the visa stamp same day or may ask you to come later. Who knows?

They may ask you to show the proof of relations (birth certificate), and may ask general questions like "what you are intentions to do in US", "where will you live" and such. Don't worry, F1 are the easiest ones usually. And yes, if you will be approved your passport will be stamped and you can enter US. Good luck!

Montreal is considered an easy consulate. I got my K-1 there back in 2002. If your case is straight forward, your interview will be a breeze with minimal questioning. Your interview will be in the morning. If the consul is satisfied, you will be asked to return in the afternoon after 3:00pm to collect your immigrant visa.

Do you know where I can find some sample interview questions?

There are no such for F1. Noone gonna ask you where you sleep and what color is the door in your house. Lol! Just relax! If all your papers are fine there is ABSOLUTELY nothing to worry about (I was F1 too).
