Interview and 2nd FP

Hi folks,

My I-485 files got transferred to Newark office in June 2003 and I had an interview in July 2003.
During the interview, the officer requested a new medical and 2nd FP, so I finished them a few days after the interview. It's been more than 2 months since I submitted the new medical, but I haven't heard anything yet. I'm not sure how long it takes to get FBI clearance these days.

Is there anyone in a similar situation? And is it normal to wait 2-3 months before I could get the approval notice?

why need new medic?

Hi, I have a question for you. according to the medic memo, medic is valid until 485 is processed. Why did they ask you for new medic? can you pls answer this question?
