Interrim EAD received from SFO Local Office - Concurrent processing on !

This morning, My wife & I visited SFO USCIS local office at 6:30 am to apply for interim EADs since our I-765 has been pending for around 92 days since ND.

The immigration officer was very friendly, no un-expected questions asked & 4 hours later we had our EAD cards on hand. Only bumber is we got the cards for just 9 months starting Dec 1 2003 (already one month in past !).

My I-140, I-485 are still under process. My primary purpose for the EAD was to get an SSN for my wife so that she may start building her credit history in US.

We do not intend to use the EAD until I get I-140 approved.

Hi,

I have a question about the validity dates for your interim EAD. In your message you said the IEAD is valid from Dec1st for 9 months. When did your old EAD got expired?(is it on Nov30th 2003). Please let me know.

Its been more than 60 days I applied for EAD renewal, and still waiting for the approval. If it is not approved with in 90 days, I am planning to go to Newark office for IEAD.
