What do they mean by "internal security check" and what do they check?.

And idea?.

I heard this acronym last week too. Dont know about what it is, but one thing is sure that you are not alone. I used AC21 once and notified cis. besides 1 rfe on marriage for my wife, other than that, I guess mine is straight forward case but now seems really complicated with all this process.
