interim EAD

Hi

Today I went to local INS office to check about the interim EAD, they said they can issuse it only after 90days, my case is filed at CA , she told me the case has to be transfered to their office, then only they can proceed further,my EAD expires on Dec21st, ..(just tensed )....she told me to come back 19th DEc....Will they issue me interim EAD on the same day.

Any hepl greatly appreciated

Can we work after EAD expries and waiting for the new EAD to come-in ( No H1) ??
I never got a clear answer to this question??

you cannot work if ur ead expired and you didnt get the new one...thats the reason for interim EAD..i just asked this question to my lawyer
 
IIO said you can use AC21 if EAD expired

and you have pending renewal application, its ironical the
authority is saying this and still I have doubts believing it?..

I would think that AC21 should also be true just as it is the
case for H1-B,.....

this is how INS regulations are even the writers of it are not
sure what they actually mean

so u r saying one can work even after ead expries according ac21 ( given u have the pending re-newal ead applicaiton0??
 
Hi Tikku, do they ask you the letter from your employer for your EAD?

Hi, I heard some INS office ask for the letter from applicant's employer, say that "the employee will be out of job if s/he doesn't have EAD etc...".
Do they ask you for that?
What INS office did you go?

EAD Renewal

Tikku,

I think, my case is also the same as yours. My EAD expires on 12/27/2002. My Renewal EAD ND 09/19/2002.
What is your ND for Renewal EAD?.
Have you done your FP yet?. I am not yet.
