Has anyone applied for Interim EAD with San Jose BCIS?

my EAD application is pending for more than 90 days and I am planning to apply for iEAD.

What is the procedure for iEAD application? Can I just go to San Jose BCIS and get iEAD on same day? What kind of documents do they request?

Bring your I-765 application form, I-765 receipt (90 days away), I-485 receipt, passport and I-94. Same day service.
 
I will be applying for an interim EAD in the San Francisco office. Does anyone have an idea about the queue there these days.
Also, I only have a copy of the I 485 Notice, because the original is with the company's lawyer. Isthis OK, or do I need the original.

regarding the SAn Jose office? Is it true one has to go there at 5 am in the morning to get one of the 75 numbers they give out ? or is it possible to just walk in at a more humane hour??
