Interim EAD process... Orlando office

Hi...

I need to go to the Orlando office to get an Interim EAD

Does anybody have any information that they can share about the process of getting an Interim EAD from the Orlando, Florida office of the USCIS...

iEAD process at orlando INS office

ns77,

I have received iEAD from Orlando INS office very recently..

As per my experience the process is follows..

They will issue iEAD only after 90 days and mostly on Wednesdays ..

As a first step, I took appointment using online 'Infopass' facility ..
I took it for a day which is just a week before 90th day since my EAD was expiring on 91st day..
The officer asked me to submit I-765 application,receipt of I-765 which is pending at the Service center, I-485 receipt.

I got the appointment from them for a day which happened to be a Wednesday (after two weeks) and it took just 15 minutes for them to issue iEAD on the schediled day/time.

it seems in this office they are not entertaining walk-In's..

Just one more question... I read somewhere that for the Orlando office... you have to mail in the IEAD application and documents (this is not correct... right...)

Doesn't the Infopass allow you to choose your own appointment date... while trying to make an appointment using the Infopass... it showed me only two dates ... and different available times on those days...

For interim EAD at SFO office, do we need to have original receipt of I-765 ??? Is photo copy works fine ??

Hi Aug,

Is it ok if the appointment that you take in the Orlando office for submitting your documents (1 week in advance) is not a Wednesday... or does it have to be a Wednesday...
