Interim EAD, NORFOLK, VA

My EAD will expire on JAN-06-2004 and my EAD RD date AUG-01-2003, i received RFE and replied they received RFE DEC-05-2003,and still processing, Does any one have any experience with Norfolk center in VA and does RFE make difference or not ??
i am going to norfolk on JAN-02-2004.
any ideas or past experience is highly appreciated !!!

Norfolk is pretty bad

I was in the similar boat as you are now in. Please look at my experience in the following thread . They will not co-operate, but you have to beg and persist like Fevicol . Then only they might atleast ask you to come back on the day your current EAD expires.
