interim EAD at Boston

Hello:
I have applied for a EAD (1st renewal to VSC) for myself and my spouse. The received date is 10/23/2003. The case is still pending. My current EAD expires in 3 weeks (1/22/04).
1) Can I go to the Boston Field Office with my current receipt and request an Interim EAD. If so, what documentation do I need to take (and do I have to pay the fee again).
2) Could I go earlier than 1/22/04 and not wait till the 90 days expire (the application was received Fedex on 10/10 - but the receipt says 10/23).

Please advise.
Thank You

The 90 days count starts from the Receipt date. You can go to boston for iEAD on 91st day from your receipt date NOT from ND.

I went to Boston for iEAD few days back and got the card without any problem.

I took the following docs:

1. Copy of the I765 receipt notice.
2. New I765 application form.
3. Passport with I-94 card
4. EAD card
5. I485 receipt notice
6. I140 approval notice if it is approved
7. Driver's license

They did not ask for the fee, to be in the safer side you may take money order for 120 dollars.

Thank You u123.
One has to go to the JFK Bldg by the govt center in Boston - correct?
