Interim AP - Help

I filed 131 (renewal) on Jan 6th, 2004. As per Rect notice I should get my AP within in 60 to 80 days(?). I am not sure though. For business reasons I need to travel abroad in April. What should I do? Is there any interim AP available?, in case I dont get my AP within 80 days. Thanks in advance.
 
No, it is actually an emergency AP. If you (or company) can prove that there would be serious financial loss if you cannot visit that country in April, you can get an emergency AP before april. Do it atleast 3 weeks before your travel date.
 
Dear indusman,
I'm in the same boat as you - have to travel to India in June to attend sisters wedding and my RD is 01/26/04. I'm planning to get emergency AP via a doctors certificate... please advise if their are any consequences to this.
