Interesting Issue with EAD: ND 2/19/02

Wife and I applied for EAD (and AP and FP) at the same time. Her EAD was approved on 4/18 and I have no theard anything about my EAD. Is it normal? Her SRC number as SRC XX XX XXX02 and mine was SRC XX XX XXX40 (about 38 numbers below).

Would this be the same trend in FP and other approvals too?

Normally they process both applications same time, unless

there is some they want to ask in one application. I hope your case is approved and you receive both EAD cards on the same day.
 
Kamalhasan, did your wife receive the EAD yet. Mine was approved on the same

day but didn\'t received it till yesterday. I am getting worried. There are atleast 4 people in the tracker with EAD approval of 4/18 or later have already received their EAD.

I am the primary applicant on my AOS and filed AOS with AP & EAD both for me and my wife at the same time... They approved my wife\'s EAD but issued an intent to deny on my EAD application citing that I can\'t have EAD as I did not submit my AOS yet... Can you imagine??

If I did not submit AOS, how my wife submitted her AOS?? Same officer at the same time approved her and denied my one.... Crazy people!!!! They don\'t even know what they are doing..

A congressional & AILA enquiry is in progress.. Will keep you posted...
 
Natural, ours (myself and wife) was approved on 04.13.2002 and I got

both EAD cards on 04.19.2002. Hope you will get them in a day or two.
 
same intresting thing happened to us

My wife and I (primary) filed AOS, AP, EAD together. We got AP 1st. Then I got EAD on March 8. On April 8,my lawyer told me he got a RFE for my wife\'s EAD from INS, asking whether my wife\'s AOS was ever filed.
Can they check this piece of information on their wired computers?
 
I think I know why this problem is caused!! UTATST, tsc666xun ..please check your SRC numbers...

- Both have same RD and ND (2/15, 2/19)
- Per AVM her EAD was approved on 4/18 and she got the card in 5 days (4/23 or something)

But here is the KEY:

Wife\'s details (Primary Applicant)

AOS SRC: SRC 02 107 XXXXX SRC 02 107 XXXXX - Meaning my EAD was filed before my AOS

Well..this could be the reason. Anyone with similar problem, check your SRC numbers.
