Interesting Issue with EAD: ND 2/19/02 I think I know why this problem is caused!! UTATST, tsc666xun

- Both have same RD and ND (2/15, 2/19)
- Per AVM her EAD was approved on 4/18 and she got the card in 5 days (4/23 or something)
But here is the KEY:

Wife\'s details (Primary Applicant)

AOS SRC: SRC 02 107 XXXXX SRC 02 107 XXXXX - Meaning my EAD was filed before my AOS

Well..this could be the reason. Anyone with similar problem, check your SRC numbers.

Bracing for an RFE or a denial...

Not true

My wife\'s AOS SRC > EAD SRC. But still her EAD was approved 4/18/02 without any problem. Offcourse, I havent received the card yet. Dont know what is going on. People who have been approved at that time or even later have received their EAD card. Yesterday, i received the EAD approval notice from the lawyer office but not the card.
 
Me not either..

I think they search on last name or so.. If you are not lucky enough, they mistype your name and obviously, it does not return anything.. So your file is not found and your case is intended to deny...
 
My EAD was approved on 13th april \'02,

but no card yet,i too don\'t know what\'s happening..
any suggestions would be helpfull...
 
my EAD is also still not approved even though my husband got his

EAD card already on april 29. ...checked avm and his is updated and mine is same old message....
So i guess this a common thing here in TSC.
 
Receipt not received yet...

Any ideas why... I have not received my receipt numbers yet (it is going to be a month now). My attorney says they sent it to TSC on Apr 3rd. How long does it take usually to receive a receipt?
 
Somewhat similar issue...

My lawyer sent my 485 documents on April 10th. I still have not received my RD/ND yet.

Have you got the dates atleast? How many days did it take for you to receive this information? Thanks !
 
No dates too...

My attorney nor I received any information back from INS yet. No dates or Receipt numbers also. One of my friend just sent the 485 documents just 3 days before me and looks like they have got their FP notice too.
I guess attorney(not we) would get the RD/ND.

Ya. From the different messages exchanged in the forum, I guess the lawyer will get the RD/ND. I have posted a message for Gwane/Texas!!! as they have got their ND as 04/19(saw this in e-nairobi.com). I guess you must be very close to getting it.

But, who gets the receipts for all the 3 documents(AP/EAD/485)? Lawyer or the applicant?
