My affidavit of support shows that I have insufficient funds to support my family. What do I do?
I have a principal applicant with my 2 kids as dependents to the principal applicant. under 2015 poverty guidelines I require evidence of approx US$30, 312 for a total family size of 4. I need advice on the following:
Option 1: My wife currently in home country earns well above the US$30,312 limit, can I add her earnings as evidence. Would her bank and asset documents as well as employment earnings be regarded/valued by the US consular office?
Option 2: If I get a co sponsor (my father-in-law) it may help, but I really do not want to go this route.
Interview date is most likely to be in June 2015, I am yet to respond with all the form submissions because I do not know what to do next.
Need advice fast.
