Per rupnet stats for OCT-01 RD's filers INS approved 76 cases in OCT-02 and 47 cases in NOV-02 (up to NOV-18-02).

Taking these numbers the average per working day approval rate comes to approx 3.46 (22 work days/month) and for the past few days we are seeing atleast 2 approvals every day, that makes it about 58% of their peak output (of the sample on rupnet ofcourse).

I think their could be two factors contributing to the drag

1. Group 3 registrations (ending 21st feb.)
2. FBI trickle feed.

For the more curious members, I did not count manually :)

as we all get deeper into analyzing the functioning or non-functioning of the INS as the case maybe...it has not an iota of an impact on their efficiency...i think it would be more appropriate to just bide our time and wait for the eventuality of receiving the much awaited plastic....

In the mean time ...live a little for there is more to life than the INS...

Cheer all..

 The subject:"INS working at 58% of peak capacity" is misleading. I believe INS is working close or even more (considering special registrations) of its peak capacity.

It is the approval of I-485 and Naturalization that is experiencing delays... They are approving other applications like EAD or AP at a normal rate (within 60-90 days) ..
