INS will get another new excuse!!

This is from a reliable source, Feb02 cases will be processed sometime around Dec03-Feb04. That's means a massive backlog from all over.

Good luck

And what reliable source is that? Don't try to scare people unnecessarily!!!

Don't worry friends,

look at the situation with other angle.

I think they have started the EAC-02-01-xxxx in the month of July-Aug. Its appro. 120 INS working days. (don't forget the delay and no. of application filed in the month of Aug. and Sep.) Now they are processing EAC-02-055-xxxxx. That means its processing (EAC-02-1 ) 1 day application in 3 working days and looks like its improving. So you will see December approvals very soon.

Keep hope and cross your fingers.

Good Luck.

I spoke with an IIO today. The reason I call IIO is not try to get the information, rather to let them hear the complain.

I asked about why I-485 processing speed at VSC in the past month is only about 20% of normal (pre-freezing and this January) speed and if the number of officers working on I-485 have been reduced. Her answer is that the amount of officers work on I-485 is still the same, there are just too many backlogs. I then ask her if they were working on backlogs, why I don't see many backlog approvals as well? She then try to explain to me that each case takes a significant amount of time... All is bullshit!!!

On the other hand, I was laughing at her ignorance when she told me that they should get to my case (01/02 RD) in 60-90 calendar days. How is it possible if it takes them 3-4 months to process one month of files and I knew they are currently processing only early November RDs, idiot? IIOs are just bunch of liars.

My estimate is that it takes at least another half year before they get to January 2002 RDs, perhaps even longer than that if this slow pace remains and no petitions received from immigration communities.
By the time, almost everybody will have to redo fingerprint (valid for 14 months).
