Hi,

who know what imppact for I485 process for INS to audt file on nationalwide from Sep 17th -- Oct 5th.
 
what\'s this?? I could not find any relavant thing on shusterman.com.

The INS has announced the following "The FY 2001 deffrred Revenue Audit will make it necessary to freeze file movement for a shport time. There will be a National(inter-office) file freeze begineing on Sep 21 and an intra-office file freeze beginning on Sep 28. The inventory period is Oct 1-5, 2001. File will be frozen at each location until th eauditors inform the Service-wide inventory Coordinator that freeze can be listed and he gives his approval to do so.......
 
This seems to be a yearly procedure (norm) to me and I\'ve heard about something like this last yea

The INS has announced the following:

"The FY 2001 Deferred Revenue
Audit will make it necessary to
freeze file movement for a short
time. There will be a National
(inter-office) file freeze beginning
on September 21 and an intra-office
file freeze beginning on September
28. The inventory period is October
1-5, 2001. Files will be frozen at each
location until the auditors inform the
Service-wide Inventory Coordinator
that the freeze can be lifted and he
gives his approval to do so. Of course,
there are provisions to exempt certain
files from the freeze for emergency
reasons if documented and approved
by the local Inventory Control Officer."
