I received my I-140 approval notice letter from VSC this May and my I-485 petition is still pending (RD: March, 2003). I have been checking my I-140 status from INS website, which still does not show the approval of my I-140 case. I am wondering which one, online information or letter from INS I should thrust. If my I-140 approval status is not updated at INS website, will it affect or delay my I-485 approval? Anyone had the similar experience? Thank you so much for your help!

I had intervew one month ago and got GC.
My web status is now.
"On December 4, 2003, we transferred your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status to our office in HARTFORD, CT for them to schedule and conduct your interview. Scheduling can take several months. Our office in HARTFORD, CT will notify you when they schedule your interview or take other action on your case. If you need further information, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283."
Letter is best evidence.
