INS stopped processing applications as of today???

It talks about delays in processing not stoppage

In case of 485, it depends upon your local INS office. If they have access to IBIS, you might get the passport stamped on the same day
 
madhu!!! Read it properly before posting titles like this!!!

it sends out panic waves among people in this forum.....the link discusses the extra delay being caused by new security checks.... and I guess the news is coming out late officially where we knew already about it.....CSC stopped approving cases for almost 3 weeks(starting April 12th) but now approvals are coming out in normal pace like before........I dunno about other centers though............
