Spoke with IIO at the new 800-375-5283 phone line. I picked the option to speak with the officer regarding information on the case status. The guy had no clue what I was talking about and he referred me to 949-831-8427 (which is disconnected). So lets just HOPE it is a smooth transition.

Who said 949-831-8427 is disconnected? I just tried and I got that good old busy signal as usual! As per BCIS (Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services) web site those numbers didn't change! Here is the link...

PCee, I noticed that too when I called back later but for a brief period in the morning ~8am there was no busy tone and it appeared d/c. Lets just hope the new organization is more organized than the previos one.
