INS Processing speeds have gone from bad to worse .Nowadays it is so bad that i think I will add a new word to the English dictionary WORSEST..

INSurance to keep the balance on the US job market.
I think that current slow processing times can be explained by artificial delays. The plan is to wait till most of the applicants got laid off, than bombard them with RFEs thus lawfully filtering them out of the country.
Once, the economy has recovered in the future, the INS will INSure government with more cheap work force available (you know to clean toilets, wash cars, programming on Java...), by restoring an old quick pace in processing.
