My wife and I got so many problems during the last couple month deal to INS mistake and our job situation, could anyone give us some optional or input, thanks so much.

My wife's is waiting for her I-485 approval, the priority date is 09/2009 (it seems she need to wait 3 more years). However, my wife received her Greencard suddenly from INS on April. We are so surprise, so I apply "follow to join" as her hushandand so on. My wife quickly got a new job using this new Greencard.

About 3 weeks ago, a USCIS supervisor called our lawyer said that they randomly audit the greencard application and find out that they made a mistake of our case. They revoked our case and want us to send them back the greencard.

Now, we are really disappointed and fascinated. Do anyone have a suggestion of what should we do other than hand back the greencard? Do you guys think if we go to the congress and file an complain would work? Any information and feedback would help.

Thanks a lot

September 2009? A future priority date? Please clarify with the correct date.

You sat and waited until after her GC was approved when you filed your I-485? Why?

Don't send back the card until you know the exact reason why they want to revoke it and you've determined that the reason is valid. Priority date not being current would be a legitimate reason ... what is her priority date and category and country? What is the approval date ("resident since") on her card?

USCIS should let you know of any revocation in writing. Don't send anything to USCIS or your lawyer yet until you receive a letter from USCIS regarding the revocation of GC.
