Hi,

My Green Card is under process and currently I am working on EAD. My I-140 was approved in the month of April.

The status online in my case has been changed mentioning that my case has been sent to the local INS office. I will receive information when a final decision is made on this case.

My case was filed from Virginia which comes under Vermont service centre. I moved to another city that falls under Vermont service centre.

I have few concerns :-

Does this normally happpen that the case is transferred to the local office for final decision ?

What could be the reason for the case to be transferred to the local office?

I tried to talk to few people and they said that there may be a personal interview. Does anyone have an idea what do they ask during the interview ?

It is worth mentioning here that I didnt work for the company that is sponsoring my Green card and currently I am working for another company using my EAD....

I am under a lot of stress.. pls. reply with your suggestions ...

thanks

Thanks for writing in.

What is AC21, who files and when it should be filed ?

If it is a requirement can it be filed now ?

I started using my EAD card from September 2004, is it too late to file now ?

Should i get a letter from the company who is processing my green card that the job offer is still valid ?

I had an understanding that after EAD card I can work for any company and since I was not working for the GC sponsoring company I can work for any company or do i have to work for the sponsoring company ?

thanks once again..for your prompt reply...
