Hi Everybody,

I got my approved H1-B papers recently.i intend to go to stamping as soon as possible.

INS has mentioned that i need to produce the original copies of" Work Experience Certificates of my previous companies ".
The problem is i have submitted the original work Experince certificate(s) issued by the earlier company to the present company.
I have only the xerox copies with me.

Pls help me in this regard.....

will it be OK if i produce the xerox copies?

Original certificates....

First of all, why have you given the present employer the originals of the experience certificates? Those are yours to keep. How are you expected to prove that experience to other employers in future?

Secondly, why don\'t you just ask them to return it to you? Surely they understand that you need to take them with you to the consulate for stamping.

Even if INS did not ask you to take them with you (do they do that?), you still need to take the originals with you.
