INS doing JIT dates cleanup

Looking at the new two 485 approvals I am under a feeling that INS is going as per JIT and doing "clean up" for April first before
moving to later months.

PCEE Spreadsheet has nearly all April cases done (doesn\'t have so many April cases remaining) and that may be the reason
that we are not seeing 485 approvals flood as INS is going for April \'only\' ??

comments apprecaited :)

Maybe True

My ND is June, but I got an RFE in Feb. This means that they were processing June cases at some point. When I talked to the IIO few days back, she told me that they were processing April cases now and since mine is a June case it will take time.

CSC even approved some Sept RD cases at end of march/early April

Looks like now they are focussing on clearing old backlogs.

You might need ask your attroney to contact INS

A friend was in the same boat as you before. His RD was 03/2001 or 05/2001, I forgot. He asked his attroney contact INS couple times on Mar. Then he got sencond time Finger Printer notice for both himself and his wife on April. They are still waiting now. I belive it would be their turn soon.

Spoke to IIO today for updating my new address and

When asked how long it would take for my case to get approved, the reply was that they are processing April cases now.

As my ND is in SEP i guess the wait is longer.......

Thanks/Bhuvana.

Change of address.

Hello,
I had FP in Feb\'02. Could you pls explain the procedure( phone number, etc..) to update address at IIO?

thanks

call 949-831-8427 and press 0 to speak to the IIO.

They will ask for ur wac number or Alien number and before u update ur new address they will ask ur SSN, DOB. This was my experience.

Inspite of my lawyer calling the INS to update the new address 3 months back, the system still had the old one

I asked my attorney that specific question..

and his answer was that JIT is based on Receipt date, not Notice date. This was confirmed by an IIO when I spoke to her! I thought I add that here. (Also, last week another IIO told me that my case has a June date and they\'re processing April cases.. My RD falls in June and ND falls in August!)
