Since I am Aug 2002 filer, I sent inquiry to INS. The status is " Application is being forwarded for officer review". Does anybody know what that means? or has same status?

If I were you, I will call the 1800 number and request another inquiry if you have not received any letter from INS after 30 days. I think they will have to send 3 inquiries to the office where your application was sent to. Not until after the 3rd inquiry they are allowed to do something else to get an update on your case.
I called 800 number and sent inquiry. Got the letter from INS, and the status is" for officer review".
MY ND is Aug 28, 2002.
