Initiate new congressional testimony for name check

Let us think about that

Previous testimony concerned NameCheck for visas(!) not AOS greencards. I think the answer will be that "you people already got permit to work and live here, why would we bother with expediting your namechecks. How does that benefit US citizens or businesses?. Just give us some more time...."

If I don't get greedcard, I wouldn't buy new house, new car, new computer, plasma TV, home theater and can't concentrate on my work either. Those numbers time the number of AOS pending cases, that's a signaficant amount of loss to US economy ;-)

Well, I guess if employers still sponsor their employees for EBGC they see some benefits in it ;) In my opinion their ability to compete for foreign talents will be deeply impacted the harder conversion from temporary to permanent status is. Being a foreign talent would you be willing to invest that much energy in this country and sacrifice career of your significant other (not being able to work on their H4 for a long time) if you know from the very beginning that after all you have to pack your suitecases and leave?

Also I beleive that we [immigrants] should be clearly advised by FBI that being a witness or a victim of a crime will trigger "hit" and thus will result in a significant delay in the name check process.

yes

Yes, I agree with you guys, but think guys.

Long FBI namechecks have more benefit for businesses and US employers (voters), cause they can have employees by the balls for indefinite period of time.

Those who will benefit from namecheck speedup won't be voters for >5 years. So, why would representative of US citizens go against them?
