Information on Landing

If I land by air,then does all the landing formalities and applying for PR and SIN take place in the airport itself?

SIN applications: HRDC office (not at the airport)
 
SIN and Landing

Hi,

I'm planning to do my landing.I have
mentioned toronto in my application.

I have the following questions:

1)But can I land in vancouver?

2)Can I apply for SIN and PR in Vancouver
and give my friend's address in toronto?

3)If I apply for SIN in vancouver will it
be valid in toronto and will they accept my toronto friend's address?

4)If I apply for SIN,should I pay taxes?

5)what are the details that I should state in thw list of goods to follow?
6)Can u pls send me a format of the list?

7)The landing doc that I received says that
I should prepare 2 lists?what are those?

8)I will be coming back to US within 4
days.How should I answer the immigration
officier so that the immi officer lets me
to apply for PR card?

9)Is it safe to land in vancouver / toronto?
