Can anybody posy what information do i need to send to the congressman. My I-485 is overdue by over 3 months, and I am trying to get the congressman to look into it.
 
I believe Wait till mid Oct (Even u are Eb2), see the 2003 ppl approval flow, then contact to TSC direct to find about ur case, and see they say? use cong/senator as last option when case realy became geniune.

Are u stuck in name-check ?
Are u from SR country?

You may try Using Cong/senator option. if u get very lucky u may get result quick.

As per TSC I am stuck in namecheck. I have not heard from FBI in response to my emai****most 5 months ago asking for namecheck status. I am hoping that the congressman will be able to get an answer on namecheck for me and get things moving.

Search for congressman for yr area and then talk their office and send them in writing the problem, also search for senators who represent your state and send them emails from their website, they will tell u the procedure to contact their office - but remember you have to send everything in writing - as they have permsiion to enquire FBI on your behalf

As you are aware the Green card process involves name check by the FBI which generally takes 2 days, in my case it is pending for over 4 months.
I have called FBI but as per their policy they do not give any information on phone and we have to send a fax asking for information, which I have done numerous times. There is no information from FBI.

We need your kind help in getting the FBI name check expedited.

I can understand, YOu may try but congressman wouldn't be able to do much in name-check issue,

Try snail mail / regular mail to them (FBI) check old thread where u may find addr to file, but do not file FOIPA. many got reply it and some got expeditaion. try ur luck.
