Information about getting Biometrics done earlier

Today, I went to the service center that is supposed to take my Biometrics on 8/23. I went to the front desk officer and told her that my appointment is on the 23rd but I would like to get it done earlier.

She told me that they were full today and since I didn't have an appointment I would have to wait till everyone gets done and then maybe they can process me. I could've waited but I had to go back to work so I am gonna try this on Thursday or saturday when she said the rush is not that much.

BTW to anyone who thinks getting a BIO done earlier is "not right"..the Officer herself said that they get walk-ins everyday to get their BIO done earlier.

SO NO USCIS WONT SUE YOU if you get your BIO done few days ahead of schedule.

Like I have said before, the sooner we get it done and put the ball in USCIS court, the better off we are. I think its a good idea myself. Good luck to you...
 
Dardan, I am going today again at lunch. I work in Old Town Alexandria so this place isn't far from me...will let you know today what happened
 
I went today to get my Biometrics done at Livingston processing center in Brooklyn, NY. I walked in 8:30 walked out 9:00. Whole thing took me 30 minutes. They didn't even want to hear my explanation why I want my Biometrics done earlier, clerk just told me to get in line. Now who knows how long is taking to receive actual plastic GC after Biometrics.
 
Biometrics Done- 1 week in advance

Today I have it done. 1 hour line and thats it. After the photo, signature and fingerprint they realized that my appointment date is for the next week. They just approved it, no questions asked...so the ball is back in their court.
 
I also got my BIO done today. Just took 30 min. Like you said they don't even look at the date. All they care about is BIO letter. If you have that..fine.. you are in. I hope, that's the end of this long journey. What next..I don't know? wait..wait and..

I also got my BIO done today. Picture, Signature and Index finger FP. After that the Bio letter was retunred to me after getting stamped on the Back with "Biometrics Processing Stamp" and a person who verified the picture, and FP signed in this box for Biometrics Review By: XXXX On: XXXX

Is it true with everyone else (return of bio letter). Just curious as this was not mentioned anywhere in the thread

I went there today and they didn't ask a word why I came earlier. My suggestion is to go there early in the morning at 8 and not say a word unless they ask you.
