Infor on H1 Transfer

HI All,

I needed some guidence on my present situation... Kindly give me the information.

My case:

I graduated in may 2007 . My H1 B visa was filed in April 2007 and I have the Approval and the I 797 filed by the company A. My H1 has become active from 1 october 2007. But I have not yet Joined company A for work. Now I have an offer from Company B and he is ready to transfer my H1b visa.

My question is.

1) How long can i stay without joining the company A for work? Is there any problem in my present status?
2) Can it be possible to file for H1 B visa transfer with out a Pay stub from the Company A.
3) I was planning to get my wife here on H4. she was here till september 2007 on F2 but had to go to India and now she wants to come back she has her
H4 approval with her does she need to go to same procedure like all in india for the visa.?


Kindly help me with some information or some way to find the information regarding my situation.

3. You have to furnish all the H-1B related docs for her H-4 stamping.
