Infopass?

hi guys,

have any of you made an appointment with the immigration to have the infopass done? I passed my interview on feb 08, but i have not received my gc yet. and i am now apply for replacement of green card due to I have no received my gc at all. I heard that some of you can have the infopass by making appointment with them. can anybody share their experiences or tell me the steps how to file the infopass? Another question, I have filed to apply replacement of green card, am I still eligible to apply for infopass ? Also, what exactly infopass does? do they just stamp on your passport and its function is the same as green card? thank you for all your helps !!!:)

to keep it simple for you: infopass is a sustitute to having to go to the uscis office and wait in line for hours to be seen by a customer rep. especially if after the hours waiting, its time for them to close for the day and then u ll have to come back some other day.

so infopass is not all tghat scary to do. only a more organised way to serve the public in a timely manner. on a first reserved/first served basis. but you get to choose in advance what day u need to be seen as available.

HELLO,
My interview was approved and i received a welcome letter saying that they will send my physical gc to me, but I have never received that. All I want to know is that if I want to make an infopass appointment, are they going to stamp on my passport? I am recently want to go back to my home country to visit my family there, but since I have not received that, I can not do anything.Anybody have any suggestions?
