Infopass tomorrow and do not rely on case status online

Hi all,

My roomate's timeline has been quite impressive.

Chicago DO

10-09-06: Priority Date
10-20-06: Received FP Notification
10-31-06: Fingerprint Appointment
11-16-06: Interview notification sent out
11-27-06: Interview notification received
01-08-07: Interview scheduled

However his case status NEVER DISAPPEARED. In essence, keep an eye out for your mail at all times and those with delayed applications, get a monthly infopass if it is not too much of a hassle.

As you can see, he has applied after me and has already gotten his interview scheduled. I find out tomorrow what the situation is with my application (have an infopass scheduled) just so that I could have my peace of mind.

Any suggestions on what I should ask the officer tomorrow at the infopass other than whether my name check is pending?

Anyone have any general questions I could ask him/her?
 
Bro i applied in august my priority date is 14 aug but im still waiting too

Go for an infopass, your name check is probably pending as well but you should double check.

eo23, I applied a few days earlier than you but still haven't received interview letter yet. I had the infopass in Miami but they just kick the ball back and ask me to send letter to the Texas center. They don't even know my name check pending or not.

If they said that then they are just giving you BS because an immigration officer at Infopass appointment definitely has the visibility to your entire case history including whether or not "name check" has been completed. It was just your bad luck that you happened to meet with an unfriendly officer.

zozo I agree with takadigi, schedule another infopass and find out. They have all the information on their screens - no doubt.
