Hi all

On Sept 7,07 it will be 90days from applying my N400.

I am going to take infopass to chek FBI status:
- background check
- Name check
- Fingerprint

and at INFOPASS steps which of the following categories I select

Please select Kind of Service you need
- You need Service on a case that has already been filed
- You are a new Permanent Resident and have not yet received your Permanent Resident Card
- You want to file an application in person
- You need information or other services
- You need a form

Services on a case that has already been filed
- Order from Immigration Court
- EAD inquiry appointment
- Case Processing Appointment
- Case Services follow-up appointment

I hope all clear by FBI and ready to put my name for next big step "Interview" by than

Thanks dude4mrestonva for the list of questions

In filling the INFOPASS I have to select "Please select Kind of Service you need" :
- You need Service on a case that has already been filed
- You are a new Permanent Resident and have not yet received your Permanent Resident Card
- You want to file an application in person
- You need information or other services
- You need a form

No in the list " need to see immigration officer "

Hi Johnben,

I am not sure why you need to get an Infopass. It seems you did your fingerprints less than a month ago. Do you have any reason to worry about your case? Is it outside normal processing for your local office? Anyway, I wish I could help you with Infopass, but I never did one. Thanks to this forum I had a pretty good idea about processing times and my case didn't deviate from expectations. Anyway, not to judge you or anyone else, I understand that this type of process with very low visibility can cause anxiety and urge to take an Infopass ;)

Hi Johnben,

The reason:
1- On the Notice letter said that within 90 days I should receive notice letter for the interview date.
2- I like to know how is my status on process after 90 days.

help on selection:

Johnben,
Which District Office is your interview at? Then, check on this forum, what is the normal processing time from FP to interview letter for that DO.

My DO is Wash DC (Arlington). The avr processing time from FB to Interview letter is 3 to 6 months. But I need to known how to apply an infopass what kind of service I need to select?

The average processing time is more than year at Wahsington DO.You are way to early to get any info. They will blow you off at infopass. Will say come back when your PD is past 60 days.

I do not know whether the timeline for Washington DC/Arlington really is 3 to 6 months from Fingerprinting to Interview letter. I just looked at two signatures on the Washington DC/Arlington thread. It looks more like 9 months from FP to IL. The Washington DC/Arlington DO seems with San Jose one of the slowest in the country.
