Infopass Experience with San Jose Office? Anyone?

Hello:

I am planning to take a infopass appointment and my local office is San Jose. I did go there once for FP and found them to be pretty rude. :(

Anyone has any experience with them for infopass?

I wonder should I go to another office as a lot counts on how cooperative the officer is...or it can be a waste of opportunity.

Thanks a lot!

They are the very very rude. The guy at the front desk wont let you finish a sentence. I am thinking of taking an infopass just to lodge a complaint againt him.

Yes the front desk guy. He cant even speak english and I was having a hard time understanding what he said. But I think he is not an immigration officer, or is he?

Did you find other people inside also as rude? Did you meet with an immigration officer?

Well, front desk guy to me was white who spoke in native Ametican English and he was neither friendly nor rude, but he said to me congratulations.

GotPR?

Said congratulations? Can you elaborate? He is the IO and helped you with your case and got it done for you right there? Very cool!

Can you share more details? Looking at your dates ....seems like you went there in 2005?

Anxious me

I met 3 persons at the office(it's the one on Monterey Street). It was 2 years ago.
The 1st one is at the door checking the inforpass appointment printout. No conversation with him.
THe 2nd person is at the reception right straight from the door. He was the one I mentioned in the last post. He just ask my ID and all the papers such as approval notice and he found it was I485 approval notice and said congratulations. He was not rude.
THe 3rd person was at the window to process I551 and card production. She was an Asian woman. Not rude nor friendly, but I did not feel bad.

Overall, it was not bad.
It just depends on the person you happen to deal with, I guess.

I just couldnt get though the guy on the front desk.. the east asian looking fat guy..

However my experience happened just 2 weeks back.

Thanks GotPR. (ummmm so you addicted to this forum?....:)

MadeOneMistake (What mistake did you make?)
Okay so you got put off by the guy next to the door who checks appointments? The one I had bad experience was thin (also asian or latin) at the desk after you pass through the ropes. He seemed to be in charge as the door man guy directed me to him for any further questions.

I would love to hear anyone else had any experiences with San Jose office,

Thanks duncanidaho

Seems like this is the trend. How come they continue to be so rude  I mean did no one ever reported them?

Interestingly when I was there to get FP, the whole hall was totaly empty. Not a soul. I missed my appt by day as I got notice late and he did not allow me. I have done 3 FP in the past at different location and not on appointmet dates. Yes you are right. They all seem to be 1st generation immigrants. But then again if I was an immigrant working there I would be more willing to help and more sympathatic.

I dont think I am going there. You get once chance in 60days I guess and I dont want to waste it.
