InfoPass Appt for PP staming @ Newark, NJ

I tried yesterday and today couple of times to schedule an appointment for PP stamping @ Newark, NJ. I always receive a msg "At this time, there are no information appointments available for the office in your area. Please try back again later."

Is the Infopass appt reqd. for PP stamping @ Newark, NJ. Anyone successfull in taking an appt. online??

Anyone went to Newark, NJ for PP stamping last Wed. Please share info..
 
PP stamping

We had been to Newark ,NJ office for PP stamping this month 18 th. There was no problem at all. We were in line at 7.15 am already there was a long line before us. The women let us in after looking at our I-485 approval letter. In the letter they told us to come on any wed between 8 am and 12 00 .Got stamped at 9.30 am . I think there is really no need for info pass after my experience.
 
INFOPASS a blessing

My AD was 19th Aug and as soon I received the approved emails on the same day I went ahead and reserved 11:00am slot on Aug 27th using Infopass.
I had to reserve a separate appt for my wife also.

We reached Newark center at 10:30am , got index finger printed at 10:50, called in at 11:50 for a background check , stamped at 12:15pm.Out of the place and both of us back in office at 1:00pm.
The immigration officer told us , that it was good to use infopass, otherwise we would have waited 5-6hrs if we would have followed the instructions on the approval notice asking us to be there between 8-12 on any Wednesday.

I would advice at any cost pls use infopass cos the security officer at the Newark center will not allow you to enter the building.

At present , if you have to register a appt using infopass , you will have a 2 week wait period(seek to meet an immigration officer).

Just curious to know which option do you select for taking appointment for Stamping.

I don't see such an option.
 
I have selected

"You have received an approval letter or Form 1-797C from the Service Center or local office instructing you to come into the office for alien identification card processing / passport stamp."
 
I could not get infopass appt.

How come others are able to get an appointment at newark thru infopass?

Something wrong with the system at this time or I cannot get appt. anytime.

infopass is working now.
damn thing's got a mind of it's own.
it works sometimes, and sometimes it dont.
you just got to keep trying.
