Infopass appointment for stamping !!!!

Guys,
Do I need Infopass appointment to go for stamping in Newark, NJ? I called USCIS to ask if I can go for stamping tomorrow (Friday), she said I could except that I need Infopass appointment. She said I’d need the appointment even to go on a Wednesday (day mentioned on the approval notice).

Did anyone go for stamping yesterday (Wednesday), at Newark, NJ? Can you please tell if you got the Infopass appointment first?

Does somebody really need INFOPASS for STAMPING?
Is it better using infopass?
Please post any experiences for any District Offices that offer this. including Philly.
 
Not Needed

You do not need info pass appointment for stamping. Of course, you can get an appointment and that will reduce the waiting time. You can go on any day and if you are in the line by 8:30 AM, you should be fine. You can plan for about 6 hours for the whole process.

With I-485 approval letter (Original/courtesy) appointment is default.
Usually its on wednesdays.

1. First LineQue outside the office
2. 2nd LineQue Inside the office,Ist floor
3. 3rd LineQue Inside the office,Ist Floor Security Check
4. 4th LineQue At 3rd Floor before 1st CS Window... [finger printed & form]
5. 5th Waiting Que at 3rd Floor on the chairs for doc prep and IBIS checks
6. 6th Waiting Que at 3rd Floor on the chairs for finall IBIS clearance and Stamping on you PP.

Donot forget there is 7th waitingQue for your LUD chages for "Card Ordered"...
8th Waiting Que for "CardMailed..."...of cource these are at home...
