Infopass after FP2 notice - bad news

I received 2nd FP notice (code1) on 4/30 to appear on 5/11.
Called to TSC last week, but they refuse to get me any info on the namecheck issue.
I contacted first lady in january and received the response from FBI that "namecheck is in the process" as of 3/27.
So now we are in May. I scheduled an infopass and been there this morning.
Officer told me that my case been transferred from VSC to TSC (which I already knew). I specifically asked him about the namecheck status. He said that my namecheck is still pending..
Conclusion: looks like this mass FP update is not very promising, at least for me.

Second FP

I asked my lawyer

Here is what he has to say:

- Since the PD in my case is not yet current, he thiks there might not be any thing happening with my case.

- He thinks it has nothing to do with NC
- It could just be a routine due to VSC to TSC trasffer as some how they did not get my first FP, though the first and second FP codes are different.

- He does not know what it means by FP codes!

Who on the earth trusts and believes lawyers! I bet they must be manipulating every single person on earth and making money by turning black into white and white into black! I think they forget that they too one day have to answer to the top of the tops!!

My question is:

If it's not a big deal to get second FP and is just due to VSC to TSC, then how come ALL VSC to TSC have not received second FP?

Does this mean for those who received second FP it's a bad news?
I mean some how the first FP did not make it through or has problems etc.?

FP's expire every 15 months. USCIS needs to issue FP notice every 15 months...It's just that USCIS being inefficient....forgets to issue FP notice quiet often!
And if it suddenly wakes up one fine day...it may realize that the 15 months+ period is up and may issue FP Notice!

Haha

banta...

Thanks for explaing that USCIS sleeps too much like lazy bears!

And suddenly wakes of one day so that we go second time to entertain them to give second FP and promote their inefficiencies!

If they are inefficient - shouldn't they come to me to collect my second FP;-)?.. After all I have so far legally contributed a lot this country and paid taxes and plan to go illegal IF illegal people will be given citizenships!

Hey, being illegal lands me citizenship, I have no problem baring that label!

There was somebody else on a different thread who mentioned that TSC has received about 12000 VSC to TSC transfer cases and that FP notices for many have been sent out.

On the other hand, there have been others like me who are not a transfer case, have been in TSC all along and have gotten FP notices.

Here's the thumb rule I am working off of, "If your NC had been pending 1.5 - 2.5 years and your PD is current and you got a second FP notice", the chances are this is a positive development in your case and the likelihood that your NC got cleared is higher.

I think there are several here who fit the above.

Still does not match

Ok My NC has been pending for 17 months now.
My PD is NOT current.
I did FP1 of Code 3 and going to do FP2 for code 1 this Friday.

Not sure is it good/bad?

Screw this USCIS!

If the information above was not enough :)

Officer from TSC told me (without going into details about namecheck - they are "not allowed to discuss that" as we know) that I will be OKAY soon. HOW'S THAT???

Bottomline, friends, is that I'd rather get a FP2 than not if it is overdue...will save you time when your case is good and ready to be abdjucated.

I'd happy just to see a LUD on my case which is properly stored in a climate controlled facility at TSC (I'd imagine in the bottom most box of the pile) with large red lettered warning "DO NOT OPEN UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE".

sergy71,
i told you in another thread that similar thing happened to me as well (only difference being that my last fp ode was accepted by the officer at tsc and new fp code wasnt sent).. lud is march 29
the immigration officer at infopass refused to tell me if the namecheck is cleared in the 'new database that gets updated regularly' (said it is still pending in a 2nd database that doesnt get updated by the uscis regularly which is 'puzzling')

thats my story.. i'm keeping my fingers crossed like you
