Hi,

I had set up a appointment with DO by info pass. Could anyone share with me the experience on that? What infomation I can get from it? Will it be valuable?

My timeline:
PD:12/04
FP:1/05
Never heard anything after my FP?

Thanks in advance.

you shuould bring the last notice from USCIS to you when you go to your info pass appt.
your case number should be on the notice of action (FP) too.

where is your DO?

My DO is Philadelphia. Since I didn’t hear anything after my FP 1/2005, the only notice I had is notice for received my application. I found lots people posted at this site had IV first, then waiting for the IV. But I don’t received any IV notice almost a year from PD 12/2004.

Can I ask for interview when I meet the office there?

I am not sure that you can ask for an interview since the infopass appointments seem to be very limited, at least in my experience. At the Dallas DO, they have offered very little information. I am waiting for an oath date, having finished my interview. The information officer could not even tell me when the next oath ceremony would be or where it would be held. I was able to independently find out more information about that.

In the case of my wife's application, they just keep saying that the file is at the TSC (Texas Service Center) and that they have very little visibility into it. So far, our appointments have been kind of worthless, but you may certainly have better luck at your DO.

Good luck!
