While talking to IO about my case today, he mentioned that we should see approval this months for cases where Visa numbers are assigned. Since my name check was cleared in March, my case was assigned with visa number.
He did not want to discuss when Visa numbers are allocated for Employment based cases.
I asked whether my wife's case received visa number her name check was cleared in May. His response was that her application was ready in month of Jun so her application must have assigned visa number. (Once application is ready for adjustment, it gets assigned visa number).

My case was assigned to the officer on 2nd Jul. (EB2/PD-Sep-01/RD-Sep-04 VSC--> TSC on 7th March FP2:08-May-07).

When I asked about the new 485 applications and visa bulletin, he said that they will reject the 485 application if PD is not current as per previous visa bulletin (Jun/07)

I saw first LUD after VSC --> TSC Transfer in March.
and I hope that they send the approval this week.

(Atleast EB1/EB2 folks with Name Check cleared before Jun just need to wait few more weeks...
EB3, I am not sure, how many are left with assigned visa number after flood of approvals last month)

I am very confused. Do you guys think that the 60,000 number quoted for June means that they merely assigned visa numbers or does it mean that they already issued 60,000 approvals in June.

In other words, do you think approvals might be coming in for some of the pending cases?

My NC was cleared on April 5, 2007 and FP2 was done on 05/10

We should expect to see reasonable approvals between now and sep'30th. Obviously most of these are EB3 since the only EB1 & EB2 cases would be the ones with pending NC etc.,

Hey Folks,
We are also in the same boat, Got FP2 notice on pending 485 last week and is going for the same on 07/13/07, Not sure whether they have assigned it to the officer at TSC.

FP1 - 10/2004
VSC to TSC - 03/02/2007
LUDs on 485 -- 05/22/07 & 05/23/07
FP2 -- 07/13/07
Name Check -- Cleared according to IO at Infopass Apt

well, there are a lot of EB1 and EB2 cases who have NC cleared and still waiting, one of them being me.
 
One Mre LUD on 07/04/07

I was not expecting LUD today. I think that they touched my file on Monday hence (there was LUD on 07/03 next day) and also I know that they worked on my file on Tuesday (hence LUD on 07/04)..
I think that Thursday and Friday we will see more approvals.
