I have 2 questions :
1. I am tracking my H1 case on the web. The message displayed is "Your I129 PETITION FOR A NONIMMIGRANT WORKER was received on July 12, 2005.". So what is the the realistic time frame that I should expect my approval ? The Vermont processing does not seem to move at all
2. We are also tracking the case of my friend. The message for him is like "Your I129 PETITION FOR A NONIMMIGRANT WORKER was received on August 11, 2005." So does this mean that his petition will be rejected ? Then why did he get the EAC number in the first place? Also the date mentioned in the message is just the receipt date or the date they actually received the papers?
