Infant Travelling

hope this is the right place to place this issue.
My daughter who is 7 months now went with my mother three months ago to my origin country.My mother has a visit visa
I (GC pending) was not traveling with her My daughter born is USA and was traveling on her own passport ,but now she is coming back .Does my mother need any guardian form or anything like that ?Please any inofrmation would be appreciated .

Hi Mani,

I can just tell you that I needed a notorized permission letter from my daughter (single parent) to travel with my little granddaughter out of the country. We are all US citizens.

I am not sure how your mom got out of the country without the written consent of both parents. Someone must have missed it. It would not hurt to have the letter in her hands just in case she is questioned at the gate upon her return.

My permission letter had to be notorized. Nice of you to let her take the wee one on vacation. She must have had a wonderful time.

Thanks for the reply.Well as far as our consent letter ,we wrote that when my mom left USA
