We had a lot of trouble to get the photo of our 12 week old baby. If the photo is adjusted to the measures and position of head it also shows like half of the body and if you make it to show shoulders and above the head will far bigger than the required mesaures.

I am sending to KCC the one with the head in correct size even though it shows the body. Would this cause any problem?

Thanks a lot!

I know most people totally freak out worrying about their photos but because it is a tiny baby, I believe KCC will be lenient. The photos are there merely as identification through biometrics to make sure you aren't a terrorist. I'm sure the United States is quite safe from your baby! :):):)

Yes this can cause problems.
Take the picture and scan it. Then use Microsoft Picture editor and adjust it and then take that copy and get prints done.

infant photo & passport

Hi All
I am from India and planning for DV - 2011 for the first time. My son will be only 9 months on this october when i will apply. And I guess i will face a similar problem with the photo.
But i was wondering if my 9 month old son will need a separate passport of his own... Can anyone please let me know the rules regarding this.
Thanks in advance.

The main applicant and his/her dependants must submit a separate photo for the application, as well as a separate passport during their interview. DV immigrants are not allowed to have their infants' visa in their mother's passport.
