I am looking for good and of course not expensive individual health insurance.
Do You have any advice please?!
I am looking for a job,
but it could take some time to get a job, and an insurance from employer,
unfortunately:-(
It very much depends on the state in which you live. Have you made any application with companies serving your area. Some regions have insurance sponsored by local hospital organizations. Look for a HMO; while it may cost more, it will be more comprehensive than a traditional plan. Do you belong to any career or social organizations? Look to see if they have insurance plans.
Thank You for response
As You see on my signature, I'm from Maryland
no, I haven't joined any organization yet
what kind of organization should/could I join?
A professional organization often offers its members insurance options. What is your occupation?
I am not familiar with Maryland at all. Look at your states website under the insurance commission. My community has several hospitals that sponsor a health plan; see if there is something similar where you live. If you are in good health, you may be able to purchase an individual policy; consult with an insurance agent.
