Indian Working in Canda on workpermit, I also hold US H1B, how to travel to US?

Hi,
I am an Indian working in Canada on work permit visa. I also hold US H1B visa which was stamped in India.
If I have to travel/Visit to US on weekends or for site seeing, how things will work?
1> Will I loose my existing H1B visa if I visit to US for site seeing from Canada?
2> Do I have to take different Visa for visiting US?

Please let me know what happens on this kind of conditions?
