I had my passport renewed from Indian consulate in San Francisco as it was due to expire within next 45 days. I also wanted to get the new passport before my approval notice for i-485.
But they are a bunch of idiots I must say.
They forgot to write my name on my new passport!!!
It only has my lastname and no firstname. Then to correct the problem they have written (by hand) an Observation that my first name is "..." and lastname is "...". This note is on the first blank page of PP.
I wonder if I would be harrased at every port of entry for the suspicious looking passport.
I only wish they could be more professional.
